The DR Quasi Sixth Order Band pass series of loudspeakers allow excellent power handling within the band pass region where sound pressure is higher and the driver's excursion controlled by two system tuning frequencies. Unless typical sixth order enclosures the DR range offers extended frequency response allowing optimal coupling with small mid-high frequency speakers. Great care has been dedicated to the upper limit of the band pass; the DR range offers an horn like sound into an extremely compact package.
Relatively complex if compared to a regular reflex speaker the DR range has been carefully engineered via computer simulation software. Those compact speaker exhibit the same frequency response from 1 watt up to and beyond full power making them ideal for high power operation where usual reflex speakers have no control on the driver's excursion.
