The Self Powered Lange Loudspeaker D12A dodecahedron loudspeaker fulfils the directional characteristic required by the ISO 140-3 while delivering a continuous sound power level of 121 dB over the frequency range 90 to 12'500 Hz
High efficiency speakers 12×130 mm diameter (5.5") allow an extremely compact construction while Neodymium magnets reduce the weight to an absolute minimum (8,2 Kg).
The D12A has been designed in order to maintain the speakers as close possible, therefore polar diagrams are particularly smooth even at very high frequencies. The D12A satisfies and exceeds the ISO3382 - ISO140 norms.
The D12A satisfies harsh environmental conditions (EN60068-1-2) and has been build considering the availability of powerful processing tools allowing the D12A to perform in different ways in accordance with the acoustical engineering applications. Particularly interesting is the use with amplifiers that integrate loudspeaker management systems.
The internally mounted amplifier exhibits a very stable phase versus frequency response. Despite the ultra compact dimension of the amplifier stage 500W of clean power are available on a 8 Ohm load. The D12A provides an AC PowerconTM connector as well as a balanced XLR input socket. The Intelligent Digital Amplifier that drives the D12A combines comprehensive driver protection, cool Class D power amplification into a single compact unit.
Offered at an attractive price the D12A includes various accessories such as compact AL stators, push handles for easy carrying and a comprehensive documentation of the real performance of the unit.
