The S4611 has been designed as a high performance loudspeakers with compact dimensions. The system includes 4 x 6" FE drivers with 32mm AL Voice Coil on a Kapton former. The four speakers couple mutually delivering a significant sound pressure. A Tractrix horn is placed into the central point of the four LF drivers and is coupled to a high power high frequency driver with annular diaphragm.
The cabinet has different suspending points that allow installation in vertical or horizontal position. The compact design allows discrete installation into clubs or discotheques.
The S4611 incorporates its own internal crossover composed by quality, low resistance inductors as well as high end MKP condensers.
The maximum sound pressure the system can achieve is 123dB @1 meter in half space conditions within the mentioned frequency extension (132dB peak SPL). The system weights 14.7 Kg, and is available with custom mounting options for both rigging and dual NL4 connectors.
Despite the high Qts value of the LF drivers the system is configured as a reflex ported device, allowing better LF cone excursion control under high power conditions; Remarkable power reserve as well as unusual low distortion in the HF domain are distinctive characteristics of this compact speaker.
