The L205 is a compact two way speaker designed for curvilinear arraying. Each module has excellent power reserve (133 peak SPL @ 1 meter) for high impact, medium to long throw application in different venues, but especially for quick & easy touring sound reinforcement where quality reproduction is indispensable.
The L205 includes two 5,5" low-mid frequency drivers with 38 mm voice coil. An innovative and unique high frequency manifold has been created for the L205; it faces one 1 inch HF driver and delivers the wave shapes needed by fine line array concepts for proper cylindrical wave propagation. Perfect synchronization between adjacent modules is guaranteed up to 17'500 Hz. The vertical coverage angle is defined within 11 different positions, from 0 degrees to 10 degrees.
Quality capacitors compensate passively the sensitivity rise of the high frequency transducers when frequency decreases, and careful listening test enabled the development of a very pleasant sounding device.
