The L208 is a compact, extremely light weight two way speaker designed for curvilinear arraying. Each module has excellent power reserve (136 peak SPL @ 1 meter) for high impact, medium to long throw application in different venues, but especially for quick & easy touring sound reinforcement where quality reproduction is indispensable.
The L208 includes two 8" low-mid frequency ND drivers with 52 mm AL voice coil. An innovative and unique multi channel high frequency manifold has been created for the L208; it faces two 1 inch ND HF drivers providing perfectly shaped iso-phase energy up to 18KHz. Being the heart of the system we manufacture those parts via CNC machines. This allows to update the performance of our line arrays each time we improve our technology.
Quality capacitors compensate passively the sensitivity rise of the high frequency transducers when frequency decreases. Careful listening tests enabled the development of a very pleasant sounding device with 3 way performance by 2 way DSP operation. Well defined, non distorted high frequencies with a noticeable extension up to 18 KHz are one of the main advantages the L208 offers. This is achieved without any DSP compensation or EQ...
