The L212 is a three way speaker designed for curvilinear arraying. Each module has enough power reserve (145 peak SPL @ 1 meter) for high impact, long throw application in large venues. For very large venues the L212 will even be scalable with other Lange Loudspeakers products, such as the L205.
The L212 includes two 12" mid frequency ND drivers with 100 mm voice coil. Four high power 5,5" ND drivers are placed in close proximity of the HF radiation area, thus allowing excellent horizontal coverage with negligible interferences. An innovative and unique high frequency manifold has been created; it faces three 1 inch ND HF drivers providing perfectly shaped iso-phase energy up to 18KHz. Being the heart of the system we manufacture those parts via CNC machines. This allows to update the performance of our line arrays each time we improve our technology.
Quality capacitors compensate passively the sensitivity rise of the high frequency transducers when frequency decreases, and careful listening test enabled the development of a very pleasant sounding device.
The Lange Loudspeakers L212 line array offers many advantages over competitive systems: a noticeable good performance packed in a compact cabinet at a very attractive price to performance ratio. A skilled manufacturing process enables a solid construction and a fine black textured finish. 15 mm Finnish birch, 5° side angle, six handles Straight, conical horn 100°V - 6°H
